NORTON---Amy L Wise (Hughes), 59, of Norton Ohio, went home to be with the lord on May 24th surrounded by loved ones.

Amy was born in Akron, OH on March 3, 1957. She graduated from Barberton High School and spent her entire life in Norton, OH.

Amy worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at ZellMed for eight years. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She frequently volunteered at Open M in Akron.

Amy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Carl Wise, son Carl (Rachael) Wise II, grandchildren Carl III and Cameron, daughter Christy (Joseph) Hartline, brother Chuck (Kay) Hughes, sister Joanna (Don) Hughes, brother John (Michele) Hughes, family friend Bernice Ash, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Amy is preceded in death by parents Charles and Agnes Hughes, sister Roxanne Legg, and nephew Ray Beatty II.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 P.M. Pastors Cecil Farmer and Robert Webb officiating. Private burial for the family will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 N. Main St., Ste 2, Clarkston, MI 48346.
