Welcome to the memorial page for

Chauncey D. Gardner

January 10, 2016

NORTON---Chauncey (Chuck) Gardner, 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 10, 2016 after a brief illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. His family was truly blessed to have such a Godly and devoted Husband, Father and doting Grandfather and we praise God for the time he gave us with him. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Sharon, son Scott (Tai), daughter Staci (Brian), grandchildren Leah and Caden, Brother Gary (Pat) Gardner, Sister Carol (Harvey) White, former daughter in law and dear friend Bobbi and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and business associates, who take refuge in the fact that he is now safe in the arms of his loving savior. Chauncey was a blessing to all the lives he touched and He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator. Chauncey served proudly in the United States Navy and carried the lessons he learned in that service throughout his life and career ultimately leading to the creation of his own small business. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. followed by a Celebration of his Life at 12:00 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest.
