I knew Dave from Spring Hills Golf Club, where he played almost daily. He & I would share small talk, mainly about golf, while he was getting ready to play. He always was smiling and friendly and really loved to play. One of the really good ones is now playing golf in heaven.
RIP Dave, we'll miss you. Save a spot in your group for me.

Oh, Nancy, I can't imagine your anguish over this loss. I'm so sorry you must go through such pain. Pretty lousy reward for a well lived life. May you find comfort in knowing how many share your loss, even those, who like me, have never met you or David, but have acutely suffered through this illness, and now, this devastating loss.
