I met Jo at Pleasant Pointe where my mother Anne Moore stayed for 5 years. Jo was such a delight. I enjoyed listening to her stories and she had a great sense of humor as well as being kind and generous. I know she is visiting with all her friends from Pleasant Pointe in heaven and I know that my mother will be glad to see her again.

Our family sends deepest condolences to the loved ones of Jo's. We got to know her a little over the past 2-1/2 years after our dad George became one of her fellow residents at Pleasant Pointe. She was such a wonderful person, offering a warm smile, a soft-as-silk handshake, and enjoyable conversation. We are all saddened by her passing. Blessings to you all.

I called Jo "Mrs. Jo" all my life, I did not know her nickname was Peppy! So fitting! Mrs. Jo was my pen-pal for 40 years. She wrote me amazing long letters with the tiniest handwriting. Even my young eyes (20 years ago) considered magnification. This always made me smile. She was a great friend to me. I love her and I will miss her. My heartfelt condolences to her friends and family. I am finding comfort knowing she is now reunited with Mr. Jo and the many other friends and family members she outlived. She was a special lady.

Our moments in reflections in Pep’s passing is filled with a lifetime of great memories that was heartfelt starting with our mother, Paula Nels, when they were children. Pep was certainly one to lead by example and seeming endless energy. Loved dearly by all of us. Godspeed.
