Joe was one of the most honest and straight forward people I ever knew. He loved the Barberton area community and made it a better place. The Sokal club was not the same without him. A new star has arrived in heaven.

Hadn't seen Joe since the closing of the BFG mold shop. Many wonderful memories made as we worked together and partnered in the Mold Shop Golf League for several years. (1977 League Champs!) Joe was truly a mentor to me from the day I hired into BFG in 1970. As I was 11 years his junior, I really respected and looked up to him as a big brother. And wow, what a sense of humor! A totally admirable man! Those were good days! My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family.

Goodby friend. A man who truly loved life. He has been missed during his illness and now during his absence. Worked for the youth of his family, his cluub, his church. God loves him & I'll miss my hunting buddy!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Pat and all your children and family. I remember so many good times in both Ohio and Iowa with Joe and all of you. The picture you chose tells the entire story of Joe's personality. His big smile always showed how much he loved his family, friends and life. I will always remember him with that big smile.
