BARBERTON---Karen E. Gondor (nee Hagen), 63, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer on August 3, 2016. Karen was born in Kitchener, Ontario Canada and had been a Barberton resident most of her life. She was a Graduate of the Class of 1971 from Barberton High School and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She worked as the director at the Barberton Community Pregnancy Center and most recently worked at Summit D.D. Preceded in death by her father Ralph Hagen; father and mother-in-law Frank and Clara Gondor ; and brother-in-law Jess Gondor; She is survived by her loving husband David “Poke”; precious puppy “Gracie”; mother Ruth Hagen; sisters Holly (Dan) Antell of Akron; Tracy (Jim) Thomas and Heather (Rich) Hagen-Horn all of PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Pam and Sue, VNS Hospice and the staff at Manor Care of Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
