BARBERTON---Louis W. Sukie, 85, passed away January 28, 2018. Louis was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and worked at Rockwell International and PCM. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Barberton Moose Lodge #759. He was also a proud Air Force Veteran serving stateside during the Korean War. Over the years, Louis had various hobbies and interests.
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Terasa; and brother Eugene; He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Donavan J. “Donna”; children Tom, Butch (Stephanie), Denise (Wayne), Mark and Donavan M. (Alan); grandchildren Tera (Justin) Bennett and Josh, Jenna and Brett Sukie; great-grandchildren Ava, Anna, Brock and Ali Bennett; brother Joseph Sukie; sister-in-law Bernadine (Jim) Irwin; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friends, the Spears Family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M.
