Virginia M. Lysiak

NORTON---Virginia M. Lysiak, 85, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2011 at Summa Barberton Hospital. 

Virginia was born in Barberton and was resident of the Barberton/Norton area all her life where she retired from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Barberton.  She was a member of St. Augustine Church, the Domovina Lodge, Croatian Fraternal Union of America and the Alliance of Poles.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Theodore “Ted”; sons Theodore A. (Robin) of Coventry and Frank E. (Lisa) of Uniontown; daughters Virginia (Don) Pinkston of Coventry, Marianne Royce of Norton and Barb (Bill) Koppes of Hartville; grandchildren, Ted (Maria) Lysiak, Brian (Penney) Lysiak, Renee (Brandon) Reedy, Jeff Lysiak, Anna (Matthew) Feltrup, Jill (Bob) Sandvick, Tracee Probst, Ed (Jennifer) Royce, Matthew (Jenna) Lysiak, Jennifer Lysiak, Valerie Lysiak, Bill Koppes, Emily (Joe) Bukoffsky, and Stephanie Koppes; great-grandchildren Matt (Sarah), Kristi (Marquis), Steven, Christopher, Austin, Colin, Haley, Kara, Hannah, Lily, Charlotte, Jackson, Gavin, and Isabella, and very close personal family friend Fr. Delmar Skillingstad.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. Augustine Church, 204 6th St. NW, Barberton.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Calling Hours Sunday from 4 pm to 8 pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9:30 A.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Endowment Trust Fund.
