Helen F. (Sabol) Solosky

BARBERTON/WADSWORTH—Helen Sabol Solosky, 103, passed away March 17, 2018 at The Inn at Coalridge in Wadsworth.

Helen was born in Hubbard, OH in 1915 and was a resident of Barberton for over 57 years before moving to Southern California for 22 years in 1992. After returning to Ohio in 2014, she resided at The Inn at Coalridge. Helen spent many years working at Sally’s Dress Shop in Barberton and then Alice’s Dress Shop at Rolling Acres Mall. She loved flowers and tending to her gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Stephen J, Sabol; husband Frank Solosky of 22 years; and grandson Robert S. Myers. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Bob) Myers; son Ronald (Linda) Sabol; grandchildren Carol (Kevin) Roman, David (Elizabeth) Sabol, Greg (Cynthia) Sabol and Judy Myers (son Erick and daughter Lauren); seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her California family, step-son Rick (Dolly) Solosky and step-daughter Karen (David) Pruitt.

The family wishes to thank the staff at The Inn at Coalridge for their excellent and loving care of Helen the last four years as well as the residents, especially her tablemates, Bob, Betty and Charlotte, who made her final years so enjoyable. The Hospice of the Western Reserve also provided excellent care for Helen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Wednesday ONE HOUR PRIOR to the Mass AT THE CHURCH.
