I had the pleasure of growing up with Nick on the east side of Barberton. We went to grade school and high school together. I have great memories of all times we shared together.

Dear "Aunt" Violet, Theresa, John, Paul and Cheryl,
My heart is breaking for you right now as a flood of great memories run through my mind of sweet "uncle" Nick and his brother, my beloved uncle Gus. They were very special men who loved God, their country and their families. I will never forget Nick's contagious laugh, funny jokes (like Gus, he laughed the hardest at his own jokes) and endearing smile. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. I know how difficult the journey was for you and him, toward the end. May God's promise and your precious memories, give you comfort and peace, until you meet again. You will be in my heart and in my prayers forever. Love, Regina and John
