BARBERTON---Stella M. Lenihan (nee Oaks), 88, passed away at Barberton Brookdale Senior Living on November 29, 2017. Stella was born in Akron and spent all of her life in the Norton/Barberton area. She was a secretary and worked at Motor Cargo and Consolidated Freightways and retired in 1973 at an early age to spend more time with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading and travelling. She and her husband traveled throughout the United States and Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents Mae and Urban Oaks; four brothers, Leonard, Leslie, Lawrence and Leroy Oaks; two sisters Gladys Howe and Cordelia Phillips; and former daughter-in-law Judy Lenihan. Survivors are her son Tim (Nancy) of Norton; grandson Patrick of Akron; granddaughters Traci and Teresa both of Lady Lake, FL; 7 great-grandchildren; and sisters Doris Ralston of Munroe Falls and Grace (John) Parrott of Columbus.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 A.M.
