Agnes Marie (Witschey) Hurley

BARBERTON---Agnes M. Hurley, 91, passed away June 17, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Barberton. Born in Wadsworth she had been an area resident all of her life. Agnes was active in many bridge clubs and loved to travel. She was an avid golfer and loved the Cavs games. After church on Sundays she loved to go to breakfast with her friends, The Sunday Breakfast Club. We would like to thank Bunny Antal for her care and devotion to our mother in the last years. We wish to also thank the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living for their wonderful care of our mother the last year.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband John; grandsons Chad Morrison and Jacob Hurley and brother Bud Witschey. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children, Kathy (Dennis) Antal, Jerry (Kay) Hurley and Teri Hurley; grandchildren, Kate (John) Young, Kaitlin (Scott) Hollister and Dustin Antal; great-grandchildren, J’Ana Morrison, Fayth, Hayden and Rhianna Young; brother Tom (Josie) Witschey and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Tuesday, June 21, 2016, 10am, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 6th St. NW, Barberton, Fr. David Majikas and Deacon Robin Adair, celebrants. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday, 5pm to 8pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
