Alice M. (Stenger) Jovanov

Alice Marie Stenger Anderson Jovanov passed to the next life on January 10, 2023. Alice was born July 11, 1928 in Barberton where she resided her entire life. She was a graduate of Barberton High School of 1946. Alice was a life-long member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was in the choir for 18 years and active in the Holy Hour Adoration program for 30 years. Preceded in death by her eldest son Phillip; husband Rudy; and her parents, siblings and many friends. Alice is survived by her children Michael (Larriane), Crystal and Nancy; grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Kimberly (Ross), Jason, Christopher, P.J., Jessica (Dave), Justin, Bianca and Vanessa; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was our family’s beloved matriarch who lived a wonderful life of 94 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW, Barberton. Calling Hours Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
