BARBERTON---Angeline Dorothy Jursik, 90, passed away May 21, 2010 after a short illness. Born in Barberton she was a life long resident where she worked for the former Diamond Match Co., S. S. Cyril and Methodius school cafeteria for 10 yrs and retired from Milich's Village Inn after 17 yrs of service. Angeline was a member of the former S. S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and currently a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. Anne's Alter and Rosary Society, Third Order of St. Francis, Slovene Pensioners Club, VFW Post #1066 Auxiliary and volunteered at Barberton Citizens Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband Luke; parents Joseph and Frances (Strumbelj) Skraba; sister Amelia and brothers Joseph and Tony; Survivors include daughters Carolyn (Edward) Sivy of Louisville, Geri (Don) Cromley of Akron and Jane (Len) Harrison of Cuyahoga Falls; seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and brother Frank Skraba of Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday May 25, 2010, 10 A.M., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday 4-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton where prayers will be said Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
