Ann M. (Wosary) Kukec

BARBERTON---Anna (Ann) Mary Kukec, 94, passed away peacefully at Doylestown Healthcare Center on August 8, 2018.

Ann was born in St Paul, MN and resided in Barberton most of her life. She worked at Babcock and Wilcox and Ohio Brass before retiring from Barberton Citizens Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. Ann was a faithful member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Norton since its founding.

Preceded in death by her parents Steve and Rose Wosary and loving husband of 61 years, Edward. Survivors include son Robert Kukec, daughter Cynthia (Patrick) LeHere, grandchildren Phillip Anderson and Tamara Shuttleworth, brother Stephen (Patricia) Wosary, sister-in-law Evelyn Kukec and many nieces and nephews. Ann’s joy in life was her home and family. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Ann’s caregivers at the Doylestown Healthcare Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd. Norton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church.
