Ann Marie (Pramik) Faber

July 24, 1966 — March 12, 2022

Wadsworth

On Saturday, March 12th, the struggles ended for our sweet Ann Marie. She was born July 24th, 1966, into a close-knit, fun-loving, and LOUD family. After graduating from Norton High School in 1985, she attended the University of Akron. Years later, in January of 1990, she married her sweetheart of 4.5 years- David Faber. Just one day after the wedding, she and her sister Nancy both graduated with their Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Her Slovak and Polish genes nurtured a strong work ethic that was evident throughout her life; She was a hard worker coupled with strong humor - a win for her many co-workers. During her college years, she was a “chicken slinger” at Milich’s Village Inn, stating that her amazing biceps were due to carrying multiple dinner plates at a time. Ann’s work history in nursing included Akron General Hospital, Barberton Hospital, Dr. Bandi’s Gastroenterology group, and Wadsworth hospital. The job she most recently held was at Summa Wadsworth in the same-day surgery center. Later in life, she had a change of pace, trading her previous fried chicken work for nurturing egg-layers. Her “girls” were the Chicken Whisperer’s babies. Lots of chicken videos were shared on Facebook so we could enjoy them, too. She loved many things in addition to her pet chickens. She frequently traveled and camped- with many trips to warm, sunny, places like Cancun and Aruba. She loved Aretha Franklin, especially “RESPECT.” At Christmas it was “Feliz Navidad,” but make no mistake about it, she knew how to polka, too. Saturday morning polkas were always played around the house. She also relaxed doing crochet work. Many friends can be found doing dishes with her very own dish rag - which is now even more priceless. Ann Marie was preceded in death by her dear Dad, Berney Pramik and sweet, sister-in-law, Chris Ferguson. Many hearts are broken. Missing her now and forever are her husband David Faber, and their children, Rachel and Sarah. Her mom, Helen Pramik, and brothers Bernie, Jr. (Kathy), Greg (Kathy), and Steven (Kathy). Yes, Ann had three sisters-in-law, all named Kathy! Ann Marie’s sisters, Nancy Wagner (John) and Valerie Craddock (Jamie) were her partners in crime and biggest cheerleaders. Ann had numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. Ann Marie's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Fr. Robert Jackson officiating.
