Ann E. Pipoly

BARBERTON---Ann E. Pipoly (nee Conway), 71, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Ann was born in Akron and was an area resident all her life where she retired as an RN from Barberton Citizens Hospital after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Ann was also very active with the Barberton Soup Kitchen (Coalition of Concerned Christians) and Barberton Area Community Ministries. Preceded in death by her sister Carol Getzinger; Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years Robert D.; daughters Amy Pipoly and Meg (Jim) Ready all of Stow; son Matthew (Jessica) of Kent; grandchildren Luke and Kord Ready and Mia and Connor Pipoly; and brother Robert (Cathy) Conway of Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Calling Hours Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Barberton Soup Kitchen.
