Anne C. (Zagar) Cox

Anne C. Cox, 89, was a lifetime resident of Barberton but lived the past 2 years in Greenville, SC passed peacefully on February 17, 2016 to join her husband Lance in the kingdom of heaven.    Anne was a devoted mother & grandmother who was a very kind, loving & generous person that will be greatly missed by all.

Anne worked at Barberton Citizens Hospital in the credit dept. & retired after 25 years of service & was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart & Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

She was predeceased by husband Dexter Lance, parents Mary & Frank Zagar, sister Helen Zagar & brother Frank Zagar.

She is survived by her daughter Pam and husband David Lamb of Greenville, SC, grandsons Brent Hohman of Charleston, SC, Kyle Hohman of Norfolk, VA, granddaughter Renee and husband Brock Putman; great-grandson Mason Putman of Greenville, SC; sisters Mary Poje and Frances Boley; sister-in-law Ann Zagar and brother-in-laws Ken Cox all of Barberton & Dr. William E. Cox of California along with many dear nieces, nephews & friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9:30 A.M.
