Anne F. Hornyak (nee Stopar)

NORTON---Anne F. Hornyak (nee Stopar), 76, passed away June 6, 2010 at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Born in Barberton, she was a life resident of the Barberton and Norton area where she was a very active and dedicated member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and was the President of the Altar Society.

Preceded in death by her brothers John and Joseph Stopar; Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years Ted; son Theodore; daughter Barbara (Gene) Yeager; grandchildren Bethany (Randall) Saunders and Nathan Yeager; great-grandson Jeremiah Saunders; and brother Bill (Wilma) Stopar.

Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010, 10 AM at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1051 E. Robinson Ave., Barberton. Rev. Fr. Miron Kerul-kmec, officiating. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 4-7 P.M at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton with a Parastas Service 7:00 PM. The body will also Lie in State One Hour Prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Nicholas Church.
