BARBERTON---Anthony E. Kumse, 90, passed away February 19, 2013 at Pleasant View Health Care Center.
Tony was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from P.P.G. after 33 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and an avid golfer who used golf clubs that were as stiff as a pipe. Tony was also a proud WWII Veteran and a retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Margaret Ann (nee Moritz); son Robert Kumse of Baton Rouge, LA; daughters Patricia Aragon of Coral Gables, FL and Deborah Berger of Norcross, GA; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Church.
