Anthony F. Mihelic

NORTON---Anthony "Tony" F. Mihelic, 89, passed away July 19, 2012 at Emeritus at Camelot Place in Medina.


Born in Sherman, Ohio, Tony was a Norton resident all his life where he retired from P.P.G. Industries after 40 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Norton, past-president of Columbia Athletic Assoc., K.S.K.J. Lodge #10 and Knights of Columbus #1617. Tony was also a former Councilman for the City of Norton.


Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; brother Allois; and sisters Mary, Ann and Josephine; Survivors include his sons David (Martha) and Paul; daughter Martha (Rob) Colbert; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
