Bernice (Susalka) Koscik

Bernice “Bea” Koscik, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish where she enjoyed crocheting prayer shawls with the church ladies. She was proud of her Polish heritage. She was also proud of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kostanty and Stella Susalka; sister and brother-in-law Jenny and Zigmund Ostroski; and her husband of 63 years, Stanley. Bernice is survived by daughters Chris (Doug) Giffin and Dede (Steve) Piesciuk; grandsons Jim (Heidi) Giffin, Geoff (Lindsay) Giffin, Jon (Alisha) Giffin, and 9 great grandchildren.
At the family’s request, there will be no viewing. A private family funeral service will be held at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
