COLUMBUS, OH---Bertha E. Wozer, 92, passed away November 14, 2010 at the Mother Angeline McCrory Manor in Columbus, OH. Born in Cleveland, Bertha had been a Barberton resident since 1938 where she was a member of the former SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society, Rosary Society and the Free Eagle Society.
Preceded in death by her husband Stephen Joseph in 1999; daughter Joyce Ann in 1961; brothers and sisters Helen Miller, Eva Michalec, Joe Boczek, Anna Benyo, Mary Ann Zbreski, Lottie Vandiver, Tillie Eddy and Fred Boczek; Survivors include daughter Cynthia Elizabeth (Walter Lee) Distelzweig of Columbus; grandchildren Capt. Kurt Joseph (Annie) Distelzweig USAF, Germany and Lisa Marie (fiancAC. Chris Fleischer) Distelzweig of Columbus; great-grandchildren Keegan Joseph and Reese Elizabeth; sisters-in-law Ann Vozar and Viola Hatala; and numerous nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron at the convenience of the family.
