Betty S. Delorenzo

Betty S. DeLorenzo, 77, passed away on June 21, 2024.

She was born on June 4, 1947 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Steve Newberry and Eva M. Newberry Spencer (Hudson).

Betty retired from PPG Industries after 49 years of service and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her sister Annie Withem; brother, Corben Newberry and mother-in-law, Anne DeLorenzo. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert; daughter, Shari (Jeff) Rechtorik; grandchildren, Paul, Josh  and Jacob Miller, Kayla and Brad Rechtorik. She is also survived by her brothers, Orden Dee and Clayton Newberry of Barberton. And many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH 44230. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 4-8 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
