Betty A. Gombasky, 77, passed away September 30, 2026 at Merriman Care Community in Akron.
Betty was born in Bedford, Ohio and lived most of her life in Barberton where she worked at Summa Hospital.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband David in 2008. She is survive by her loving son Scott C.; sisters-inlaw Peggy (Bob) Wise and Chris (Mike) Melnyk; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Fr. David Majikas, celebrant. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Mass AT THE CHURCH. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
