BARBERTON---It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty L. Holliday. Betty was born to Art and Lena Hornbrook in Massillon, Ohio. She was a resident of Barberton for over fifty years, but remained a Massillon Tiger at heart. She passed away January 16, 2012 at age 78 in Doylestown after a period of declining health.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Hornbrook and son-in-law, Dave Knight. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jack Holliday, children Lena Knight, Scott Holliday, Luanne Holliday and Jenny (Ken) Reid. Grandchildren Jackson, Olivia and Athena Knight and Andy and Bryan Reid. Great grandchildren Makaila and David. Sister Virginia Cochran as well as other family and friends.
The greatest treasures in her life included her marriage to Jack, the births of their children and grandchildren, raising their family and teaching and helping them to succeed in life.
