Betty Jane (Mandich) Milinkovich

Betty Jane Milinkovich, 81, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, Friday December 27, 2024. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on April 9, 1943 and has been a resident ever since. She graduated from Barberton High School, class of 1961 and was retired from Yoder Brothers and Gardner Pie Co. She was a devoted wife and mother and would spend lots of her time volunteering for Barberton youth sports. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank Milinkovich, mother, Anna Mandich, brother Mike Mandich, sister Mary Ann Lieberth and her dog April. Betty always had so much fun spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, shopping, watching movies, having coffee and donuts, going to their sporting events and going to look at Christmas lights. She is survived by her siblings, Anna McNulty and Wade Mandich; children Theresa (Phil) Sherman, Frankie (Kim) Milinkovich, Paul Milinkovich (Karen Ayers) and Shannan Milinkovich; grandchildren Lauren (Jon), Anthony (Kristian), Nate (Alison), Nick (Katie), Bethany (Donovan), Amanda (Chase), Joe, Frankie, and Della; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Weston, Miles, Carly, and George; and her cat, Mona. We all loved our Grandma Bet so much, she will be forever missed. Betty had a great love for angels her whole life, she finally gained her own angel wings and we are comforted that she and Grandpa are together again. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and again 1 hour prior to the funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Road W, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
