Betty Jean (Varner) Morlan

BARBERTON---Betty Jean Morlan, 72, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 15, 2018.

Betty was born in Elkins, W.VA and had been a Barberton resident most of her life where she was a bakery manager at IGA and Giant Eagle. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by the love of her life Leroy; son Anthony; and parents Arlie and Dorothy Varner; She is survived by her sons Timothy (Cindy), Keith, Steven and Kevin; daughter Karen (Frank) Jennings; Nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother John (Diane) Varner; and sisters Phyllis Thompson and Irene (Tim) Hill. She will be deeply missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M.
