Beulah Ann Shaffer (nee Tanner), 77, passed away February 21, 2024.
Ann was born in Clay County, West Virginia and lived most of her life in the Akron area. She was a licensed hairdresser and cosmetologist for 35 years and loved doing her family's hair. She was a beautiful person and loving mother who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would do anything for them. Ann loved working in her yard and garden. She made friends wherever life took her and she endured more then most in life but continued to be a positive role model for her family
Preceded in death by her loving husband Johnnie Mitchell Shaffer; parents Richard and Dessie Tanner; sons Johnny and Rick; brothers Leroy, Glenn, James, Gene and Dale Tanner; and sister Dottie Tanner; She is survived by her son Randall (Jodi) Shaffer of Cuyahoga Falls; sister Helen (Bob) Cook of Akron; grandchildren Mitchell (Kelly) Shaffer, Reyanne Shaffer, Ricky Shaffer, Makalyn and Ayreana Roush and Jaloni Lockhart; and great-grandchildren Valerie and Audrey Shaffer.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6-7 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help care for her estate.
