BARBERTON---Camilla M. Gnap, 87, passed away November 10, 2012. Camilla was born in Barberton where she was a life resident and retired from Ideal Drapery and was the owner of the Crosstown Inn. She also worked at Coventry Wares where she painted figurines. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she was active in the choir. She was also a member of the former S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society, Jednota Club and K.S.K.J. and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Camilla was very proud to have made quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Paul; daughter Claudia Oser; and grandson Paul Gnap; Survivors include her sons Paul (Judy) and Patrick (Patricia) all of Barberton and James (Mary) of Wadsworth; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sisters Sr. Anne Mary Tholt of Pepper Pike and Vilma (Robert) Saxon of Akron. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Manor Care of Barberton for their care of Camilla. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
