Casto Todd Jernigan

Casto "Todd" Jernigan, 85, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2015 at the Doylestown Health Care Center.

He was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from Seiberling Tire and Rubber Co. He was a proud Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Todd was also a member of the Canal Fulton VFW Post 9795.

Preceded in death by his brother Burton, Gene, Raymond and Edgar Ray; Survivors include his son Robert D. of Barberton; daughter Terrie Jo Levers of Barberton; grandchildren Rob Jernigan, Lynett Caplinger, Richie Todd Levers and Steven Adam Levers; great-granddaughter Maria Caplinger; and sister Alice Bloomfield.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Doylestown Health Care, Clear Path Hospice, Becky (Demuth) Bohannon and his card playing partner Dee McCoy.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Janice Smith officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doylestown Health Care Center.
