Catherine A. (Simons) Yeager

Catherine Ann Yeager (Simons), 57, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Cathy was born in Barberton OH on August 16, 1968. She was a lifelong resident and graduated from Barberton High School in 1986.  Cathy was a hairdresser for over 40 years.

Cathy is preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Yvonne Simons.

She is survived by her brother, Rich Simons (Stephanie), Barb Brown, Terri McGrath (Mike), her children, Aaron Yeager, Alexis Yeager (Bailey), grandchildren, Elias Owen, Ezra Owen and Aiden Hogsed. Numerous nieces and nephews, close family and friends.

Cathy was the best hairdresser to all of us and would break out in dance while doing your hair.  She loved to go to Zumba and had the most infectious laugh.  She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.  Her presence will live in all of us forever.

A Celebration of Life for Cathy will be held on September 28th from 2pm to 6pm at the Barberton Moose Lodge, 250-31st Street NW, Barberton.
