Cecelia T. Danko

NORTON---Cecelia T. Danko, 81, entered into heaven on Aug 2, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center surrounded by her family.


She was born in Barberton to the late Sophie and Theodore Lysiak. Cecelia was lifetime resident of the Barberton/Norton area where she raised her nine children. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barberton and currently a member of Prince of Peace in Norton. Celia loved cooking, gardening, shopping, the Sci Fi channel and spending time with her grandchildren.


Preceded in death by her grandson Wesley Danko and daughter-in-law- Judy Danko; Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph; brother Ted Lysiak; children Joe (Linda), Paul (Sue-Anne), Mike (Joan), Rose Danko, Ed (Leigh), Celia (Mike) Thomas, Janice (Greg) Kendzior, Susie (Vince) Fodor and Dorothy (Tim) Hagenbuagh; grandchildren Adam, Shannon, Jesse, Anthony, Timothy, Tyler, Alexander, Samantha, Abbey, Samuel and Ashley.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton where prayers will be said Tuesday morning at 9:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VNS Hospice or Prince of Peace Church.
