BARBERTON--At age 79 1/2, Cecelia has danced into the arms of her Lord, untethered by oxygen lines and limbs weakened by strokes and illness! Born in Barberton, where she had been a resident her entire life having worked as an Avon representative for 25 years and a real estate and insurance agent for 20 years. Cecelia was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and the Barberton Moose Lodge #759 Women of the Moose.


Preceded in death by her husband Charles; infant son Michael Paul; brothers Jack, Tom, Bill and Henry Kimble and sisters Helen Youngblood and Dorothy Beckham Survivors include children Patty (Jim) Dyer of Akron, Frank of Barberton, Larry (Lisa) of Wadsworth, Theresa (Jimmie) Holmes of Barberton and Ted (Christine) of Kent; grandchildren Michael (Trisha) Dyer, Danny Dyer, Francis and Misty Gradisher, Andrew Gradisher, Joseph and Salena Holmes, Rachel Crouse and Scotty (Stephanie) Crouse; great-grandson Brayden Nicholas Dyer and numerous other loved ones.


Her creativity and sense of humor are two of the things that we'll remember most about mom. The strength of her faith was unbending and will be treasured for generations.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, 11 A.M. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Fr. James Maloney celebrant. Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Friday 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
