Charlene R. (Kozelski) Haverlick

NORTON---Charlene R. Haverlick, 74, of Norton, OH passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 after a brief diagnosis of cancer.

Born in Barberton, OH on September 27, 1944 to the late Chester Kozelski (Chet O’Kelley) and Kittie Griffiths.

Charlene managed her father’s fine establishment, Chet O’Kelley’s on Second Street in Barberton. In later years she worked at the women’s shelter and volunteered at American Cancer Society Discovery Shop.

Charlene loved the comfort of her home watching the birds especially the cardinals, reading and enjoying visits from family and friends

She is survived by sons Brett (Janet) Haverlick of Barberton and Steve Haverlick of Norton; Grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Luke and Jeffrey; great grandchildren Liam, Olivia and Atticus.

Charlene had a host of friends and cousins that meant so much to her as well.  She will be greatly missed. A Thank You to everyone for the love, prayers, meals and visits.

Charlene’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Deacon Robin Adair officiating. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
