Charles P. Conrad

NORTON---Charles P. Conrad, 62, passed away March 8, 2010 at his residence. Born in Barberton, he had been a Norton/Barberton resident all his life where he retired from the Norton Public School System after 26 years of teaching. He was a graduate of Kent State University and a member of the former S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Chuck's passion in life was teaching and his family. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mary; and brother Ronald; Survivors include his brothers Paul (Bonnie) of North Carolina and Gary of Barberton; sister Karen (Ron) Speck of Barberton; beloved nieces Shannon (David) Wokojance and Nichole and Emily Conrad; and beloved nephew Jacob Conrad. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 12, 2010, 10 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
