BARBERTON---Charles W. Nixon, 58, passed away October 10, 2011.


Born in Akron, he was an area resident all his life where he was a 1972 graduate of Green High School. Charles was the owner/operator of Nixon Trucking Company for over 20 years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, bonfires with the family and spending time with his grandchildren.


Preceded in death by his parents Glen and Marguerite; Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years Delores; sons Steven and Glen (fiancAC. Barbie); daughter Angela (Scott) Cart; grandchildren Cora, Alexandria, Trenity and Kyla Nixon. Dusten, Dominic, Jenna and Mikaela Cart, Cinderella Flaker and one more baby Nixon on the way; brother David; and sister Sandra (Jack) May.


Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, 12:00 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
