Charles M. Preston

CANAL FULTON---Charles "Chuck" Preston passed away peacefully on October 9, 2011 at the age of 62. Chuck was born in Buffalo, NY, to parents Raymond and Vivian (Preston) Przepasniak. The family moved to Barberton where Chuck graduated from Barberton High School and attended the University of Wisconsin. Chuck was employed by Lucas Landscaping in Norton for 30 plus years. Chuck enjoyed working in his yard, "tinkering" around the house, cooking meals with his daughter Kim, and traveling. He was an avid sports fan, and collected coins and arrowheads. Chuck was a proud and loving "Papa" to his grandchildren and a friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Kenneth and James, Chuck is survived by his wife Lynda; daughters Kimberly, Karla (Todd) Espey of Avon, OH, and Kelly (Jeff) Hanna of Wadsworth, OH; grandchildren Grant, Grace, Garret, Kohl, and Karsen; brother Richard (Sandy) Przepasniak, Canal Fulton; and many loving relatives and friends. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held at 7 P.M. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Jeff Hanna officiating. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 5 -7 P.M. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
