Charles W. Zagar

Charles W. Zagar, 97, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023.

Chuck was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from the Ohio Brass Co. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a proud Army Air Corp Veteran serving in both WWII and the Korean War.

Chuck’s loving wife of 73 years Martha “Honey Ann” preceded him in death om July 28, 2022; son Randy; and grandson William Bernard; He is survived by his daughters Karen (John) Vancse, Laura (Matt) Hudak and Pam (Bill) Bernard; son Jeffrey (Jor Jan); daughter-in-law Brenda Zagar; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW, Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
