CHESTER A. BENDEN


RAVENNA---Chester A. Benden, 98, passed away June 19, 2011 at The Woodlands at Robinson.

Born in Lily, PA, he had been an area resident most of his life where he retired from the Ohio Brass Company after 28 years of service. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Barberton and more recently a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceded in death by his wife Sylvia; Survivors include his son Gary (Haley) of Ravenna; three grandchildren; and sister Ethel Miller of Beaver Falls, PA.

Graveside Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Holy Cross Cemetery.
