Daniel Binns

Daniel F. Binns, 73, passed away July 14th. Dan was born in Akron, on July 10, 1953, to the late William and Helen (Bentley) Binns. He graduated from Garfield High School, class of 1971. He retired from Schindler Bro’s Trucking Company in 2016.

Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Liz, daughter Michelle Huff, and brother Bob Binns. He was preceded in death, by his son Bret, his parents and siblings, Bill, Mike and Sue. He was a proud grandfather of 6. Bryana (Brandon) Stalnaker, Brendan (Andrea) and Ryan Jr Huff, Gage Masters, Lainey and Blake Binns. He also has 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Samuel Stalnaker.

In his younger years, he enjoyed taking part in numerous bowling leagues. He also enjoyed the outdoors and picnics with family, swimming and fishing.

He will be greatly missed by his family, including many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held, at a later (TBD) date/time.
