Daniel A. Cook

Daniel (Dan) A. Cook passed away the morning of December 25, 2024 in New Franklin OH.  Dan was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend whose kindness, laughter and jokes always filled the room.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Cook (Avant); daughter Deena Ewers (Scott); grandchildren Griffin Ewers (Megdalyn), Alyssa Ewers & Cailyn Ewers; twin brother David Cook (Bonnie); in-law’s; nieces/nephews; cousins; close family friends; and beloved dog Moxie. He is preceeded in death by father Joseph Cook; mother Olivette Cook (Palm); sister Harriet Bilinovich.

Dan was a Norton High School graduate. After high school he attended a Tool & Dye apprenticeship.  Dan had worked at B&C Machine in Barberton Ohio starting at the age of 14 until he was in his 70’s.  Dan was a big animal lover and treasured all of his pets over the years. He loved fishing, camping, golfing, watching the Browns, Cavs, Guardians & Ohio State; hunting and skiing in his younger years.
