David W. Gleghorn

David W. Gleghorn, 86, passed away on Saturday, Dec 6th. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a longtime resident of Clinton, Ohio. He spent his career as a sheet metal worker and was a member of Local 33. He served in the US Army and was a member of St. George’s and Sts. Philip and James Churches. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Grace, siblings Marie (Berle) Eileen (Arnold) Jean (Louis) Helen (Joseph) Tom (Peggy) and his wife of 49 years Mary. He is survived by his brother Richard (Anna), daughter Catherine Jones (Bob), son Walt (Connie). Grandchildren Zach (Kaitlin), Natalie, and Cate; and multiple nieces and nephews. Dad loved to hunt and fish, especially deer hunting. He loved to plant trees and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a former checkers champion of Margaret Park Elementary.
