David A. Habick

David A. Habick, 72, passed away February 7, 2014 at Longmeadow Care Center.

David was born in Akron and was an area resident all his life where he retired from the City of Akron after 18 years of service.

David was a proud Army National Guardsman.


Preceded in death by his parents Julia Wood and David Habick; and sister Maryann Kovack; Survivors include his wife Patricia; daughters Vicki Habick and Tina Habick; grandchildren Nick Habick and Darren Koontz; brothers John (Janet) Habick and Paul (Marilyn) Habick; sisters Julia Beck and Eleanor (Joseph) Rogers; stepson Raymond (Cheryl) Bell; stepdaughters Michelle (Don) Lehman and Kristine Ruiz; step grandchildren Robert and Marianne Walker and Kira Ruiz; and two great-grandchildren.


Private Memorial Service was held for the held for the family at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home.
