David H. Hartley

David Hartley, age 66, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 13, 2022.  He was born and raised in Barberton, Ohio and graduated from Barberton High School in 1974.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Hartley, and is survived by his spouse Janis Seifert and her daughter Nicole (Mike) Winkler and Dave’s daughter Elizabeth Hartley.  He is also survived by his siblings Richard Hartley (Connie), Johanne (Steve) Despot, Carolyn Gill, Patricia Schmitzer, Sister-in-law Tami (John) MacDougall, and Paw-Paw Dave’s best little buddy his granddaughter Lucy Winkler. He also left behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dave loved astronomy.  Look up to the sky on a clear starry night.  The brightest star will be Dave shining down upon you.

Per Dave’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services or calling hours are planned.
