David Scott Lapolla

CUYAHOGA FALLS---David Scott Lapolla, 50, passed away on March 15, 2013 at his residence. Born in Akron, he had been an area resident most of his life where he worked at the Akron Beacon Journal and also for E.W.I. In Columbus. David was a loving father and grandfather and was very dedicated to his family. Preceded in death by his grandparents; two uncles and one aunt; Survivors include his daughters Delena Elkins and Kerri (Dan) Norris; son Jacob Elkins; grandchildren Delia and Grayson Norris; mother Jean Lapolla; father Robert (Virginia) Lapolla; sister Laura (Jim) Mathie; brother Steven (Shirley) Lapolla; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
