David L. Sparks

NORTON---David L. Sparks, 63, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on March 4, 2017. David was always giving all he had and no matter the circumstances, always with a smile on his face. His heart was too big to remain here with us and God called him home. David was born in Akron and retired from the Barberton City Schools.  Preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Grace; and brother James E.; he is survived by his sons David L. (Bridget) of Largo, FL and Shane E. of Norton; daughter Angel R. (Andrew) of Largo FL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Jerry (Shelia) of Wellington, OH; sisters Marsha (Tom) Drainer of Rittman, Beverly Hubener of Barberton, Becky Sparks of Clinton and Deborah Sparks Sunderland of Norton; and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton followed by the Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. Fr. Robert Jackson officiating. Private Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
