David M. Timura, 78, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023.

David was born in Ernest, PA and had been an area resident most of his life. He worked for AT&T as an electronic technician, taught Jiu-jitsu for over 30 years and worked as a Sheriff’s Deputy. David was a proud Marine Corp Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Preceded in death by his wife Kathryn; He is survived by his daughter Patricia A. (Daniel) Martin; sons David W. (Julie), Michael E. and Paul J.; grandchildren Danielle, Jamie, Kyle, Adam, Andrew, Jessica, Matthew and Troy; great-grandchildren Thomas, Joseph, Lillian, Braxton and Miley; and brothers Stephen (Verna), Daniel (Patricia) and Roger (Janet).

David’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1051 E. Robinson Ave., Barberton. Fr. Miron Kerul-Kmec, officiating. Burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Calling Hours Saturday, ONE HOUR PRIOR to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
