It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Michael Yannuzzo on May 24, 2026. Born September 26, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, David lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to his family.
He was the beloved son of the late Joseph Yannuzzo and Rosemary Zona, and a proud member of Local 17 Iron Workers before becoming a sub-contractor. Known for his strong work ethic and skill, he earned the respect of all who worked alongside him.
David enjoyed darts, had a true love for golf, and found joy in building and creating through hands-on projects. Above all, his greatest pride was his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Yannuzzo (Brandon Edwards), Aston Yannuzzo, Haley Yannuzzo, and Gabrielle Yannuzzo; his grandchildren, Kylee, Paige, Brennen, and Mercedes; his great-granddaughter, Camilla; and his siblings, Alice Rice and Joseph Yannuzzo, along with his nephew, Ricky Rice.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
David's Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd W., Barberton, OH. Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
