Dennis P. Matozel


CLINTON----Dennis P. Matozel, 64, passed away February 2, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at the Hospice Care Center.


Dennis was born in Akron and was an area resident all his life where he retired from Avaya Communications (Bell System) after 30 years of service. He was a graduate of the University of Akron and member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Norton and the Ohio Bell Foreman's Club. Dennis was also a proud Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.


Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Evelyn; Survivors include his loving wife Kathy; daughters Jennifer and Michelle; and brothers Michael and James.


The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Parkview Cancer Center and VNS Hospice.


Per his wishes there will be no services. Private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
